The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouts BSA. It represents your active participation in the Troop where you have worked to gain skills, earn merit badges and develop as a leader through fulfilling the duties in your positions of responsibility. You do not travel this trail to Eagle Scout alone. Your fellow Scouts, family, unit leadership, District and Council volunteers all have a role in guiding you to the attainment of the Eagle Rank.
Your trail to Eagle started well before the achievement of the Life Scout rank, it began as you worked to earn the rank of First Class. You, your parents/guardian and the adult leadership should make themselves familiar with not only the requirements that must be completed but also the time frames required to achieve the Eagle rank before your 18th birthday. With rare exception, you should never “run out of time.”
In order to make your journey as stressfree as possible, please take the time to review all the information provided, download the checklist and follow the steps. The journey may not always be easy but you need to do your best to make it a fun.
